Tested were plain (buttermilk and sweet cream) pancakes and multi-grain pancakes, all tested side by side except where noted.. With and without syrup.

Cracker Barrell - 50% real maple syrup, 50% sucrose (real sugar) (For years it was 100% maple, but maple shortage caused them to revamp their syrup -- it tastes even better now.)
