Best chocolate chip cookies in Utah
revised 7 Aug 2021 (leaves out many tested on the older list further below; this first list includes only the better ones)
As editor of this blog, I've tested them at nearly every cafe, grocery store, and many convenience stores in Utah, plus bakeries. This list is subjective because some folks like them crunchy, others chewy. I like them both ways, so I went for the flavor of real butter and higher quality chocolate. (Most are NOT made with with real butter, but with margarine – over 90% of those on the market. I go for the real butter taste, plus dark-ish chocolate.
